I can't watch those medical shows either -- but I loved SFU.

It has a sense of irony, camp and even comedy mixed in with the tragedy. Claire was kind of the conscience of the show - to her a lot of life is just so absurd.

I bought it for my s/o for Christmas a year or two back and we watched it in its entirety last summer for the second time. It's a great series. I postponed our summer vacation trip a few hours last year because I refused to leave until we finished one of the DVDs I was watching. My favorite character was Ruth. She mellowed down a bit after the first two seasons, but it was great to watch her. I loved the Keith and David romance because it reminded me a lot of my own

I go back and watch the finale closing montage on YouTube every now and again because it is just that good.

Yup...me too. That song gets me all choked up.

My daughter and her partner are visiting us for spring break and they've convinced me to loan them my SFU box set! Eep!!!

I really enjoyed that series for the most part. The first and second seasons were the best. I liked the dialouge between Nate Sr. and Nate Jr.

I don't even remember that!!! Even took me a second to remember that her brother died during the series. I really like that guy too!!!! That sucked. Especially between Nate and Nina is it? I can't imagine being her in that situation! That would kill me!!!
I definitely need to watch the series again. Once is not enough.
