Now that we're down to 7 singers I am wondering which one they are "saving the Save" for. You may be right that it's for Elise. They only have 2 more chances, according to what Ryan said last night-- they can only "save" someone until it gets to 5 remaining contestants. I am surprised they didn't use it on Deandre (though I'm glad they didn't) but I would've thought J Lo could've gotten Randy on her side. (Unless the save has to be unanimous -- I don't recall the "rules!!) He's been a major gusher over Deandre -- remember the "I didn't want it to stop" comment over last week's song....

And where did this "he/she's got to have it" stuff start with Randy??

Someone must have told him to stop with the "In it to win it" line. It was getting old. LOL

I just hate it when they are pressured to "perform" in a way that is not natural to them. You either have that or you don't and the ones who don't should be allowed to stand in one spot so they can do what they do best without having to be something they are not.
I had to fast forward.
I agree. So many mistakes are being made with this young girl from the dreadful wardrobe (and I disagree with a previous poster who felt last night's dress was an improvement) to the hairdos to the prancing around the stage - none of which suit her at all and make her look like a middle-aged woman trying to look 16. And obviously all that moving around is way too much of a challenge for her (lovely) voice.

I was really hoping that DeAndre would be ousted (too boring, too one dimensional musically as yet, too cocky) but was nonetheless surprised when Holly made it through. Hopefully her handlers can get a handle on her and package her up to her best advantage.

This is one of the shows where I love, love, love my DVR. I could never sit through it if I had to deal with the whole ordeal. Cutting it by 3/4 works for me!

They have not yet hit it big in the US but they will. I think they are good. It takes me back to the days when The Beatles were here for the first time. I am not comparing them to the Beatles but they are all very cute and they have a nice sound. They appear to be nice young men and they are clean cut. I hope they don't lose that.
They have already hit it big. Glad You Came (the single sung last night) hit #3 on billboard weeks ago (highest charting by a British Boy Band ever). The song is certified Platinum in the US. Far from not being big.

Even more proof...
It was featured on Glee in Feb.

Oh and by the way they aren't the only British Boy Band coming over... One Direction is another one that has quite a following. My guess you will see them on X-Factor this upcoming season (being former group from the UK's version).

As to last night...
- What is Idol thinking with all the J-Lo promo-ing...
- Nice camera work... pan to Milli on stage getting into the bottom three, pan to Vanilli in the audience crying... priceless

I thought Deandre looked a bit silly during his "save me" song - he was bouncing around and twirling his hair all over the place.

DeAndre went bye-bye Whoop de doo. I never cared about him anyway.

I'm glad that my wife, Skylar made it. I was about to get a heart attack if she landed in the bottom again, and all that support paid off.

Oh and I've noticed Hollie is very short. You can wrap her around your finger, like pasta on a fork.

So happy DeAndre left, his singing was god awful, and he was arrogant. Holly needs to go next. I know everyone love Joshua, but his style of singing does nothing for me, i think he screams way to much.

If Hollie screws up again (She screwed up the beginning), she's going bye bye. I used to like Hollie, but I lost interest in her after she kept screwing up. Sorry, but her vocal ability is nowhere in the same league as Skylar now

Sorry gobucks86 but you better keep running your phone bill up the roof again or your sweetheart will go bye bye. I also pray for Joshua to go too. God I can't stand that dude. I get headaches when I listen to him. I'm tempted to destroy the T.V. whenever he comes on.
