What are your predictions for this next season ?

I am skeptical about the 4th judge ?
What is the point ?
How do they have tie breakers ? Whoever can make fire the fastest ????

I think the addition of the fourth judge is a nice diversion. The original three were getting kind of boring, the fourth giving some renewed validity to their decisions.

In case of a tie, the ol Brit makes the decision. Read about it just today.

I'm glad they're giving the blind guy an opportunity. He won't win but hopefully he'll get some good connections for a prosperous future.

So far so good.
It is only 8:45 pm here so I havn't seen the blind guy yet. Just listened to the gal who started that neat adopt a grand friend program.

So does simon weigh in last every time ?? Is it obvious he is the tie breaker ?

He can't be a tie-breaker, there are 3 others. But I did see where Randy and the new gal said no, but Paula and Simon said yes, so it was a go, which is what WillysB is talking about, I guess. Thanks for that info, Willys!

Ok, I admit it, there was nothing else on so I watched it. I feel dirty now!

Anyway, the new judge, Kara - kinda boring so far. I have my suspisions she's only there as a replacement for crazy Paula and the next drama she's involved in that will finally get her kicked off the show for good.

As far as the contestants go, some were good and some were horrible as usual - but it seemed to be a lot less funny this year. I like the pinkish hair tattooed chick and the closet boy. The bikini chick that sang through her nose was just ridiculous and won't last 2 seconds in Hollywood.

Thanks for the info about tie-breaking, I wondered about how it would work, too.
Kara seems okay, seems weird to have a new judge and sometimes it was hard to follow with 4 people talking.
The bikini girl wasn't that good at all, it was annoying they let her through.
I liked the pink haired girl too...there were a few that were really good.
I am so glad AI is back on!!!

I watched it and was entertained!

I love watching the tryouts and try to guess which ones will make it all the way.

I watched too. Nothing else on to watch. Thats' my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
I like the new judge. Brings something new to the show.
I was not impressed by any of the people they let thru.
I wonder how many girls will audition next year in bikini's because that is the only reason that skank got thru, it wasn't for her singing!

With this year’s new format of four judges, a two-to-two tie will result in Cowell ultimately becoming the decision maker in some cases

I didn't like bikini girl, either. I think her first few notes were okay, but then she went downhill pretty fast.

My favorites were closet boy and the blond girl who got through just a few minutes before him.

I know it's mean, but some of the bad tryouts I can't even stand to look at. The faces they make are just grotesque.

I like the new judge. She kind of looks like the girl who was in "Son-in-Law" with Pauly Shore. Her name is Carla Gugino.
