I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure "Have Gun Will Travel" is from the 50s.
Along with "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "The Rifleman."

Let's see, off the top of my head:

The Time Tunnel
I Spy
The Big Valley
Wild, Wild West
The Invaders
Rat Patrol
Mr. Ed
Petticoat Junction
My Favorite Martian

from IMBD.com:
Dick and Paula Hollister are a witty, sophisticated couple living in New York City. Dick is a comic-book artist who has become well-known for creating a superhero called Jetman, which has been turned into a TV show starring egocentric actor Oscar North.

Starred Paula Prentiss and Richard Benjamin (married in real life) plus Jack Cassidy (as Oscar North) and Kenneth Mars (both hilarious!)

Loved this show, great cast, very witty, probably 5 years ahead of its time. Saw it when it first aired & supposedly, it was later briefly shown on USA Netword & TVLand but I never caught it there. Never issued on VHS or DVD.

Anyone else remember this gem?
My father LOVED this show. He had the biggest crush on Paula Prentiss.
Thanks for that memory

ETA: Have to give my mother equal time: she LOVED "Secret Agent" with Patrick McGoohan.

Do you by any chance remember Alcoa Presents: One Step Beyond? It was a lot like Twilight Zone except that the host/narrator always tried to portray the show as being a recreation of true stories instead of fictional -- which, of course, made it even scarier than it would have been otherwise. That was one of my very favorite shows in the early '60s. Loved the

haunting theme song, too (although it's well into a minute of this youtube video that it really becomes all that recognizable).
