U.N.C.L.E. was a fictitious secret international espionage and law-enforcement agency and was an acronym for United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.
Duh! I knew that; I really did. Just wasn't thinking. Thanks for the correction.
The Second Hundred Years, about a guy who was lost in an avalanche in Alaska, is quick-frozen, and comes back to life in 1967.
LMAO, and I agree! I hadn't seen Here Come the Brides since I was 12 or so, and was just kind of stunned at how bad the writing was. Although this scene tugged at my heartstrings (probably from swooning over David Soul). The good stuff starts about a minute in:
I'm a guy, so pardon me if I don't swoon over Starsky, or Hutch, whichever one he was, but okay, I'll agree that this scene does sort of get ya right there. Still one really bad show, though.
Pawporri, I wasn't necessarily referring to My Mother the Car in particular (about shows so lousy they never got enough original air time or subsequent rerun time to be remembered), but the shoe definitely fits. Actually, I do remember a funny scene from Mother. When Jerry Van Dyke puts anti-freeze in his mother, then gets arrested for DWI when he tries to drive her, and SHE is drunk and weaving all over the road.
Not listed here is actually my favorite tv comedy of all time- McHales Navy. Ernest Borgnine and a young Tim Conway were the stars. Only ran four seasons with 3 seasons set up in the Pacific (New Caledonia) and the 4th in Germany. Occasionally other stars would come in one shot roles; Sue Ann Langdon, George Kennedy, Claudine Longet (believe it or not), and several others.
The Outer Limits ("Do not attempt to adjust your tv. We control the vertical; we control the horizontal...")
What was the one where a guy jumped into a large swirling thing, and went back in time?
The Patty Duke Show (I was in love with her)
Top Cat
Huckleberry Hound
College Bowl
Saturday Night Cavalcade of Sports
The Rifleman
Wagon Train
The Untouchables
The Gong Show
Oh, I remember, My Mother the Car very well! That was on about an hour or so after Topper. Maybe 2 hours. I think Gale Storm was in between them.
What about Clutch Cargo?
