I think Danny's sister and her boyfriend killed Danny. Danny's sisters BF is a drug distributor along with Danny's dad's plumbing employee. They had the kids doing drug runs (that's why danny was seen late at night skateboarding with a backpack). Something happened and they killed Danny. My guess is Danny threatened to report them or wanted out. This is why Miller's son is shady because he knows the circumstances, but may not know WHO the killer is.
I guess I am in the minority. I think Gracepoint is unusually well-done for an American series, almost on the level of The Killing which I really do miss . The majority of the acting is fine , not as adept as Broadchurch , but much better than most shows on American television & yes, I agree that a few of the male actors look so much alike that it is difficult to tell them apart.
I'm with ya! I love this show! And I love the fact that it will all come to a conclusion in a few weeks. Unlike those shows that go on for years without any conclusion!
We need more shows like this...mini series. First week, someone is killed. 6 weeks later, we know who did it. The end!
I'm actually rather excited that next week looks to be a significant departure from the 'original' story.
I do still think that Tom Miller is the murderer.. But, my theory is only about half based on what i've seen on the show.. The other half is based on thinking that the American producers are going to think they're slick by making it him.
The Jack story was really tragic. I knew it was coming when they showed the newspaper headline.
