IMO, very little chance of being renewed. But, perhaps it will.
It really would have been better as a '1 and done' mini-series...
I quit watching it, and am 2-3 episodes behind. Will the asteroid at least make a guest appearance or two next season? I was expecting it to be at least approaching Earth, getting closer, freaking out the inhabitants of Earth at least. But no, everyone is always just trying to kill each other, just like in all the other things on TV.
I’m going to give season 2 a look. There were a few problems but it’s so rare to find any semi-intelligent science fiction on TV that I want to support the effort. Starting back soon I hear.

This would have been a great mini series. Unfortunately they’ve drawn it out and made it dumb.
