LOL That is true. Although, maybe so many watch the show these days that buyers ARE actually talking like that!

Thinking about all the scripted things they say makes me appreciate the way Sandra on Property Virgins does it. She doesn't parade around with them spouting transitions like "ok lets check out the [insert room here]" She lets them make up their own mind, although in reality I think people would see a lot more houses before deciding on one. It seems like in Property Virgins they actually do only see a few houses.

A friend of a friend of mine was on House Hunters and he said they already bought their house when they decided to be on the show. It's definitely all staged.

You gotta love Sandra's no-frills, all-honesty approach: "well, with this amount of money, what is it going to be: location or sq footage?!"

I haven't even watched it, but seriously, the absolute need of a double sink for a single person, is that what was on?... well, to each his own.

nightcrawler, you should have a HH episode exclusively dedicated to yourself on "how to be a tough-cookie (not ******ie, just tough-cookie, eh?!) seller"

One sink for each hand...or personality

OMG, the other night this nerdy young couple were so annoying, he kept saying everything was small, and didn't like the colors because he didn't want to paint.

Sandra looked at him after he did the "small" thing one too many and said: What castle did you live in............put his dumb ass in check, ended up buying the house that he didnt like the colors, painting would get subbed out then..

Love Sandra, that's my girl, she don't take no crap from no one....say that with a Brooklyn accent!!

I really enjoy Sandra on Property Virgins, I like the way she makes the buyer face facts.

I agree. On HH when the idiot says "I can't buy this house because the bathroom is carpeted", the realtor will say "but it does have the back yard you wanted."
Sandra tells then don't worry about the damn carpet, it can easiely be removed. My favorite of these shows is million dollar listing on Bravo, for so many reasons, but mostly the realtors have more drama then the clients.

This is great comparing the two shows. Where Sandra knows how to check the buyers, HH realtors just kind of have this submissive facial expression and some fake suck-up-to-the-buyer comment

Sure, carpet can be removed. However, some people (myself included) really want hardwood. That can be pretty expensive to put in.

True. But I doubt you want hardwood in the bathroom.
