Thought you all might want to see this article in the daily mail about the back side of Britain's Got Talent. Not a pretty picture, and probably indicative of what goes on behind the scenes at the cattle calls for AI - Britain's got cruelty: Exploitation is what this talent show is about | Mail Online

Wow - I'm watching American Idol Rewind - the year Elliot Yamin, Christ Doughtry (sp), Taylor Hicks, Paris, and Kelly Pickler were in the top 6. Any one of them could beat all of this year's finalists except for Crystal. Watching those old shows again really puts things into perspective. And the stage IS smaller this year. But on this particular show, the band behind Taylor Hicks destroyed his song. You couldn't hear him sing at all. So THAT isn't just this year.

Yeah - I'm with the rest of you. I think this is the last year for Idol. It is for me anyway. Especially after reading that article above that I just posted.

Anyone would be crazy to show up expecting food and water to be supplied to thousands.

People should have good sense to pack coolers with water and food for themselves.

Don't forget that Fantasia is no looker either and she won.
90% of the post talk about the AI top 12 looks verses their singing ability. So I am not sure what you mean by what I am gonna do now?

I don't vote off of looks.

I don't think that was the point. I agree on that. It was the callous way people were treated.

You're the one you said that AI fans were superficial...You were proven wrong. You'll have to find something else detrimental about the fans of the show.

What??!! I'm watching Idol overseas and am 13 hours behind you. I can't imagine that there's not a single post about Rolling Stones night!

Bring it on people.

I enjoyed last night show. Honestly, these candidates are not as bad as most people say!
I really loved Didi and Crystal last night. Siobhan did her thing, as usual, and it was good, as usual. Paige was great considering the fact she had laryngitis!
The guys were OK. Lee really has something, great voice, but he's obviously shy and nervous, he lacks self-confidence, and I guess he'll have to get rid of that if he wants to go far...
I really hope either Lacey or Tim will go - both are pathetic!
