I don't know for sure if I will miss Paula or not. I did like the fact that she always tried to say at least something nice to most of the contestants, even when they didn't appear to have many redeeming qualities. I also enjoyed the banter between Paula and Simon -- a sort of love/hate relationship, if you will.
Unlike some, I did like Kara, last year's new judge. I love Ellen DeGeneres but am not at all sure that I'm going to love her as a judge on Idol. I also think she will drive Simon up a wall.
I think Ellen will try to steal the show, so to speak, with her comedy routine. I think it will get old fast. I like Kara and wish it was just three judges; four gets a bit cumbersome to hear all of their opinions.
No. The only two judges I liked were Simon and Paula.
I have to aggree, I don't mind Randy but liked the others better. the other woman was a bore... yawn ! Ellen would be interesting but probably only for tryouts. I doubt there will be the same interaction between here and Simon... he just doesnt have the right plumbing.
guess I'd rather spend my time working on an RE transaction than watch so doubt I will see any of it. Way too much to do,
