That gives me a small amount of hope but I think it would be easier and quicker for them to just have a vote on S. 1931 so we can get caught up on our bills while they hash out a longer term deal.

House Republicans will hear from legendary college football coach Lou Holtz, GOP message maven Frank Luntz, conservative journalists and pollsters and education experts at their annual retreat in Maryland this week.The Republican retreat, held at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Md., runs Wednesday through Friday this week, and will also feature presentations about immigration reform, “connecting with hardworking Americans,” and “real healthcare reform.” Luntz will give the hour-long presentation about connecting with hardworking Americans. Holtz, who coached Notre Dame football, will give a keynote address Wednesday night.
