the best part of that article is the last sentence "UPDATE: The three-month extension would make payments retroactive to late December, the source tells me."

Cant be this week. it still has to go to the house next and be debated on there which can be a few days or a few weeks. . House is off until next Monday.

House Republicans will hold their annual retreat at a waterside resort on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 2014,
The “Congress of Tomorrow” House Republican Conference retreat will take place Jan. 29 through Jan. 31 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Md.

House Republicans will hear from legendary college football coach Lou Holtz, GOP message maven Frank Luntz, conservative journalists and pollsters and education experts at their annual retreat in Maryland this week.The Republican retreat, held at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Md., runs Wednesday through Friday this week, and will also feature presentations about immigration reform, “connecting with hardworking Americans,” and “real healthcare reform.” Luntz will give the hour-long presentation about connecting with hardworking Americans. Holtz, who coached Notre Dame football, will give a keynote address Wednesday night.
