it is a problem where i live the sheer number muslims in the area, theres not enough jobs for the people here yet hundreds more come every year, theres also a problem with young muslim gangs and young white gangs who don't get on, i have heard a lot of asians say openly that they don't like seeing women out having a good time on a friday night and other things they think is wrong with the country, i am not a racist, but also not naive enough to think that its not a major problem in britain, that increasingly we are not getting along with each other, the muslim community obviously feels cut off from the general public, i just feel in my area at least and no doubt in others there is a tension in the air that is going somewhere, i don't know where, but i think it won't be nice when we do get there. i don't have the answers to solve this problem, but surely people coming to this country have to try and adapt a bit at least to our culture

I think the point is quite obvious. You tried to reassure us that a large percentage of British Muslims only believe in killing for their religion if that religion is under attack. I simply made the point that the fact that infidels reject their moon god is an assault on Islam.

Hang on. They are the ones insisting on imposing an outside culture on one that already exists, and we're the ones who should try looking at ourselves from their perspective? Good heavens, perhaps the Native Americans should have spent more time reflecting on how the Europeans saw them. Things would have worked out so much more harmoniously for them.
If they see our society as decadent and dying, why indeed are they here then? They should pack up and start again in one of those beknighted places that better reflects their culture and values.
Just take trip to Pakistan & you'll see how well Islam works there.
It is perhaps the most corrupt country in the world, with unbelievable squalor, it smells like a sewage plant.
In Pakistan they have no rights, just the right to be beaten by the police if you complain. So imagine a Pakastani coming to a western country where they can say and do what they like.
I've worked with Pakastani's in Pakistan & in the UAE, they were only interested in one thing, money, they absolutely do not want to adopt the culture in the country that they move to, they want the rights that come with living in a democracy, but still wan't to maintain their traditions, even if that means breaking British law.

i take it since your names 'duthman' you are from the netherlands, you are making stupid comments about my country, that i love and was born here, ill tell you a little about your country, open drug taking, prostitutes in shop windows, and a lot of the above mentioned about britain happens in holland. our culture might not be up to scratch for some muslims, but its our culture. if they don't like it there is plenty of places in the world where they can go and live in their bubble, treat women badly, and have their view of the world that everybody should be like them, don't really care what how they rate us, i live in an area thats nearly 40% asian, most of whom were not born here
Having been born in the UK and growing up in a suburb of London till I was 30 I can tell you first hand that Muslim immgrants have destroyed the quality of life in whole areas of London and the UK. Time and time again the Labour party has undermined the very fabric of British culture by appeasing these people. Its laughable for some people on here to quote the "PC" Guardian newspaper as their opinion means nothing to the average working person in Britain. Its a paper read by champage socialists or socialists working in the public sector who have appeased Muslims, dumping them onto working class council estates while themselves moving out to "unenriched areas". The Daily Mail may sensationize on occasion but a lot of what it reports about Muslims in Britain is true. It also may be a good question to ask why the BBC does not take a better interest rather than sweeping reports of Muslim aggression in the UK under the carpet. A prime example is cases of grooming white girls in the North by Muslims............
Anyone who seriously thinks that a large proportion of Muslims in Britain don't at least passively despise Britain and its culture are living in serious denial. Its well documented that many terrorist cells and groups have history in British Mosques and we all know that for 15 years Britain under the Labour party has welcomed Muslim "preachers of hate" with open arms to live in the UK on benefits.
I also never hear many Muslims or their "comunity leaders" condeming violence or radical Islam, why is that? Instead they would rather antagonize issue such as the stupid cartoons and riot outside theatres when a play is no to their liking.
People should read Melanie Phillips book "Londonistan" and anyone who seriously thinks the UK doesn't have a problem with Islam is living in complete denial........or hates the British culture as well..............
have you considered that a lot of these 'Muslims' that have 'destroyed' many communities may actually be British? I know loads of people here that were actually born here and are no less productive than most of middle England. I'm not saying that your 100% wrong, but I do think we jump way to easily to blaming people of asian origin for the wrongs or problems in our society.
As for terrorist cells - don't even get me started! Almost all fear of so called 'terrorism' has be born from spin and hyperbole. Your no more likely to be the victim of terrorism than being struck by lightening twice in the same day!
