I can't even drink 2% low fat milk in tea anymore - it just feels too heavy. It's skim all the way. In my coffee I really go to town and "fat it up" with 2% milk

PG Tips for me but I do add milk. After the tea is brewed, of course.

That Yorkshire tea tastes too strong for me but I love the pictures on the box.

Coffee--never that west coast Starbucks crud. There are other brands like Peet's and Vermont Coffee Roasters that are really good with cream on a cold morning. They're mellow while that Starbucks crud is bitter. Best poured onto the ground.

Might have come up with something regarding Meat Tea, wonder if it means Beef Tea found a recipe from 1921 Dr.Price Cookbook, in involves infusing raw chopped beef in cold water place in a jar leave to stand for 15 mins stand jar on a trivet in a saucepan of water and heat for 2 hours, not boil. strain and drink the liquid hot or cold. There you have it.
Want some ?????

My husband and I don't drink Starbucks coffee. We either use a chickory blend (New Orleans style coffee) or Hill Brothers. I use cream, of course, and raw sugar, while he puts some sort of hazelnut foolishness in his!

If I go to Starbucks (which I do a couple of times a year) I nearly always get chai tea or some sort of seasonal drink - I never go there for "serious coffee." Their "serious coffee" tastes like the bottom of a burn barrel to me.

I NEVER drink it in place of coffee, for instance in the morning. Oh, no. It simply won't do. I do drink it in the afternoon occasionally, or in the evening after dinner, while I'm watching Doc Martin or the Forsyte Saga.
American here as well. I put skim milk in my tea. Was a coffee drinker when I moved here but now it's an occasional drink
I do love cappuccinos though. Cream is nice in coffee but tea?!

Yep - I don't see what's so weird about it. What's not to like about cream? Heck, I could drink the stuff straight up!

I can't help but wonder if it is related to vegetable soup.

Cream + coffee is a decadent delight, but cream and tea....not for me. Too heavy for tea.

I'll tell you what's weird. Mochas. What is it with Mocha's? Who needs mochas? White squirrely cream on top of a latte ?

I remember thinking I'd try one of those once. Then I proceeded to add sugar. As I didn't get much change from a ÂŁ10 note after buying two coffees and cakes I decided to complete the experiment. Big mistake!

Next time I fancy something different think I'll try a dash of that hazelnut foolishness instead.
