Plenty of economists will argue with it being "daft". Only the Eurosceptics of the Tory Party and the loony UKIP think otherwise.

Britain had a solid manufacturing base back in the day. We are a predominantly service-based economy today. Going it alone would be lunacy as we do not have the political and economic clout that we once had, even post-empire.

Well we only live one life and i really could not care about what food i eat as long as it isnt littered with salt or dieases. A bit of fat will do no harm. So the eu can go away with their laws as it is my life.. If i want to eat fatty foods then i will eat fatty foods.

We're not talking about fatty foods, we're talking about growth hormones and additives. There should be laws heavily regulating them because many people do care, yet cannot see what they're ingesting.

You mean back before how the entire global balance of power shifted and global trade networks expanded and major centers shifted to many different parts of the world? What about it?

Not talking about a bit of fat. We're talking about hormones to give you big ol' manboobs with a slight possibility of male lactation. Then again, you can always put yourself in a unique niche in the adult services industry.

Good luck anyway, if that's what you want. You'll need all the luck you can get
If you hate the US so much, why do you live here????

You take every unrelated opportunity to bash the US. Why not move back to the EU you love so dearly?

Well, he is right about one thing. We have the worst food in the world, and it's no coincidence the US has the highest cancer rates in the world.

I don't hate the US, I just feel strongly that regulation is a necessary evil. I admire that the EU at least does its best to regulate food additives, which is something that you and I as average Joes have zero control over otherwise.

Why don't you go and live on the Cook Islands? Nobody gonna tell you what to do there.
