Yeah but it's no matter to me. I watch the EPL......Good games this weekend....having breakfast in those pubs way back taught me alot about EPL football, the teams, the leagues, the players, the whole bit.....I even had to be peacemaker............;-)......
Oh, right. I'm sure your opinions are never biased.
Cricket is not just played by England, it is also played by Australia, S. Africa, N Zealand, India,Sri Lanka, West Indies. In other words a world game, so why criticize England.
Yeah but if you ask me and in my personal opinion I don't think our football is going to take off in your neck of the woods. Can I ask how they run the ads when the sport is televised by Sky (I guess) in the UK? A game is 60 minutes but you know it takes 5 hours for it to finish here. You got pre-pre-pre game...then pre-pre game...then pre-game...then game.. then ad... then game...then half-time... then ad..then ad then ad...then game...etc..etc That's how it goes. If English people like that then I don't know'em...;-)....
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you, I think you sum up one of the 'differences' in what people expect from their sports nicely though - I don't know how this sport will fare in the long run in the UK but I think the game they have here usually sells out.

When you say "world" you mean colonial countries right?
Because the world darts championship or snooker is any different
Well they are open to anyone who's good enough to play. The 'World' Series isn't.
