Niko has a cell phone and it is constantly blowing up with calls from other characters. There are something like six activites you can do: Drink, eat, play pool, visit a strip club, attend a show, and play darts.
You can set the phone to silent but the calls still seem to come through and they get POed at you if you ignore them for too long.
oh and don't forget to "stalk" warstock cache and carry to get a 10% discount off your first purchase of military vehicles.
totally gonna buy a tank and hit up the freeway
Some gameplay footage showed it snowing!! f'n amazing can't wait to see how all the cars handle in the snow.
I'm refusing to watch any "leaked" video. If it is true, I don't want to ruin the surprises when I experience it in the game. But if what you say is true, that will be great, though not the first time I've seen it in video games. Mafia 2 had it for about a quarter of the game.

I like just the little touches of realism that will supposedly be in the game. According to that wiki you posted, things like sprinkler systems in rich neighborhoods will come on in the morning. NPCs go about their daily lives going to and from work. Even the other 2 main characters, when you aren't playing them, go about their lives doing things while you're gone. That Wiki also pointed out that in one trailer, you can see a building half complete in the background but later in the same trailer, it's finished. Do buildings under construction actually get completed? Unlike GTA IV where those two roads by Times Square were always in the same stage of construction. That would be very cool!

Yup plus you can put boats/trailers on your vehicle, pretty sure you can put stuff in the trunk, semi trucks will have trailers.

I hated the face that those 2 streets were always blocked off, since they were the best streets to drive down in Algonquin otherwise.
I watched the preview at ign. They were talking about how they were driving around the countryside and suddenly ran over a coyote out of no where. It wasn't scripted or anything. They also talked about how lively and loud the city was, but when they went to a Ammunation in Blaine County in the middle of the night all they heard was the sound of the closest street light buzzing. It's little details like this that impress me the most, as it shows the developers put a lot of time even in the smaller details.

Another touch of realism is that familiar sound of car's engine making a clicking noise as you get out of it! I'm also looking forward to the very detailed-ness of the buildings, vegetation, ocean floor, body movement, facial expressions, etc. This game is using the same visual and technical physics and graphics that was applied in Max Payne 3!!! It may not be L.A. Noire, but MP3 was PLENTY realistic to me! I was blown away by that game's graphics, especially in both Sao Paulo and Hoboken, NJ.
