Okay 64 in a 55 on 95 South at 11:30 pm is one thing. But the OP did 83 (probably drove a bit faster since that was only the speed she got clocked) in a 55 on I-66 (argubably NoVA's most congested freeway) during the height of rush hour in the DC area. The first case likely doesn't endanger many the OP's case does.

Two years ago i got a red light ticket and didnt come here asking for sympathy. A couple of months ago I almost got T-boned by a driver who ran a red light about 200 yards from my apt building. That made me realize that I need to take my driving seriously so I dont kill anyone including myself.
