I thought they have been there for a while, like almost 9 months?

That's great. NH as leasing prices increase in DC proper and NOVA, NH will make a great alternative. Especially for small businesses in an expansion mode.

I think that was another firm. I forgot their name but there are a lot of small firms relocating around there.

Here's the scoop on what is being planned to replace the now-shuttered
Ketchup at National Harbor. D.C. restaurant veteran
Michael Sternberg has signed a letter of intent to open
The Walrus Oyster and Ale House. The concept is based on the poem, "The Walrus and the

Probably when the market picks up some more. Apartments are the trend now. Most banks are financing apt projects moreso than other types of developments

$28 bucks a foot....they actually filled a lot of their office space with decent firms. Also, the firms that did locate there seem to love it.

It has a downtowny feel. I used to work in Ashburn about 10 years ago. Hated it. The epitome of suburbia office parks. Bland, boring, and we had to drive at least a mile to get lunch off campus.

From what I have read, condos are doing well within DC proper but have been luke warm in (especially in the upper price bracket) in the suburban areas. This is especially the case for PG where we don't have fully developed "downtown areas" that serve as urban oasis (Like a Rosalyn, Shirlington, Silver Spring)within the suburbs. As such a lot of domestic lenders have been more apt to finance apartments and not condos etc. until the housing stock goes down a bit. The exeption to this has been projects funded by international firms (e.g. CenterCity DC), or self-financed.
