I concur. It'll be waaayyy faster to drive because you'll be going against that 270 traffic that they're always talking about on channel 7 in the morning (well lately I've been watching Family Guy reruns while getting ready for work).

But yeah Silver Spring is real neat. Although you could perhaps find a place in between Germantown and Silver Spring. Don't know anything about Germantown but I like Silver Spring they have a neat little downtown.

Ah. My mom is coming up that weekend. What a coincidence, everyone's traveling that weekend apparently. She's from GA and worried about it being too cold. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with her since she's done most of the big tourist stuff on previous visits.

Good luck. I don't know much about MD liks I said but maybe Bethesda? I don't know I like Bethesda too but Silver Spring is more affordable. Rockville is an option too they have that nice town center place which has been built since you were last in Maryland.
