I have to think that the people who think DC's weather is awful have never lived in an area with truly awful weather. We're not as cold as the Plains, not as hot as the southwest, sunnier than the midwest, and get less precip than the northwest. Trust me: it could be a whole lot worse.

Today on Friday, April 22. Rain and periods of drizzle. High temperature is 49 degrees F. Cold, gray and wet.

We live in Seattle-on-the-Potomac.
