Looking for some in the Vancouver area. Just relocated here and had a nice place back in Tulsa that sold all kinds of wood, chiminea's, etc are there any places like that around here?

Thanks

We have a hardwood lumber store in Wenatchee.

Your best best is to do a search on a hardwood lumber supply store in the Vancouver area.

Pinon is a tough wood to find. It is easier to find endangered tropical hardwoods!!!

Good luck finding good quality hardwoods in the northwest.....Alder is considered a good quality hardwood in these parts!!!

I use Cosscut, Woodcraft and Rockler in Seattle. Try those names and see if they might have one there or in Portland. I don't know if any have that particular wood but they have plenty of exotic hardwoods and veneers.

What do folks around here burn in their chiminea's/fire pits?

Thanks for the replies

Literally every place down there sells piñon for burning outside in your pits. It smells amazing and keeps the skeeters away too.

Looks like Lowes sales small bags of it, but I'm hoping to find a local person to buy from and not big box store.

Good luck...The range of Pinon stops in Utah. So that would be your closest "local" supplier.

BTW.....What's a skeeter??

Hahaha, a mosquito

Well, I guess I'll just use what I can find at Lowe's. We just relocated here and I guess we'll just have to get use to different things being available in the new region. We love it here though.
