We were in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and they had a lot open including the casinos. No buffets yet though. Most folks were wearing masks in the casinos and restaurants until they sat to eat, of course.

We're headed to Florida next week. So, we'll see how open that part of the country is. It's a different subculture down there. It looks like they were one of the earliest to open schools allowing kids back in since August. And its been a success overall. WA has recently just 'begun' letting high schools back in a hybrid mode for us. And even that was a fight first with our teachers' union.

We're hopping through through Denver to FL. I usually try to avoid CO layovers due to its crazier weather and turbulence over the Rockies and continental divide. We've had lots of airplane jarring experiences there. No barf bags needed yet, but it was close. Looks like they have more snow and nasty weather on tap for this week.

Alderwood mall in Lynnwood is so busy stores have lines up until closing at 8pm. People are definitely ready to open, even if they virtue signal with their mask. But in WA, we're going back into phase 2 or 1 by Thanksgiving time so people should enjoy while they can. Dr Fauci wants a way higher vaccination rate than people are willing to take. I think there's an even worse virus set to roll out soon.

Hey, Elko, if you like spicy, try Carl's Jalapeno Double. Not too big, but very tasty! Only costs about 3.50 up here. But back to Ocean Shores, which has no Carl's. Or no McDonalds. Or no Denny's. Or no chain restaurants in general, though some would consider that a good thing.

I sure think it's a good thing. No reason to travel if we have all the same places to go as we had at home.

Ocean Shores is a good place to rest, take a nap, lonely walk, and do some journalling. All are good suggestions between relationships.

Low key, but no need to be boring, you have enough on your mind and enough to do to occupy, reprogram, and heal the mind.

You're okay!, Anticipate your new life with confidence. Don't miss the chance to grieve, reflect, laugh, smile, cry, be at peace. So many chapters in life so few times to reflect and treasure all chapters... The good and the not-so-good.

Stay safe, be true to your inner nature and beautiful self. (As a unique artistic, insightful, intentional, valuable treasure to all.). Try to do something good or helpful to others each day.

I have a great coworker living in OS. We were the only two night workers in a huge factory for 9 yrs together. Lots of fun work together and understanding of each other. Wish I could give you a package I need to get to him from Vancouver....(perishable food / not mailable) But... I will not be home to Vancouver for at least a month.

As always, StealthRabbit, your advice to the OP is excellent. I agree.
