MN, I thought you were probably from Mn. You just moved to an entirely different climate. Did you move because of the weather or was it other reasons? How do you like it down there in the warmth so far?

Hi Jammie! Grew up in Mn. then college in S.D. and then here. Parents had house here for winter vacations. I was familiar with area since coming here on school vacations.
After college came here to live! Don't miss the snow at all ---would be afraid to drive in it again!

MN/AZ, I don't blame you at all. We've spent our entire lives here and it gets SO cold and snowy sometimes. So many people wish for the change of seasons, but I've had enough "change of seasons" to last a lifetime.

OMG. Those are beautiful pics. Jammie is shivering but I think it's beautifu. There is nothing like the crunch of snow when you walk.
Makes me want to curl up next to that signifcant other and just enjoy the fire place. Matter of fact, my fire place is crackling right now. hahaha

Fuzz, how close do you live to the timberline? I would love to live at, or above, the timber line. I've got a fire going in the fireplace right now. There's nothing I would like more then a big rock fireplace with a couple warm logs burning and a sweatheart to hold on to. hahahaha
