Weather forecast predicts a high of 74°F on Saturday. Typically, we only get a high that cold in summer if it's cloudy (esp with rain). Bit of fall poking in.

Dewpoint near 60 again!!! I was on porch with neighbor and I had to tell him after 10 minutes I needed to go inside. Sun is burning hot. No wind! A/C on all day.
Feels like Mid 80s

I'm amused at all of your complaints on heat. Today is a nice change here.
Bridgeport is reading 73°F with a dewpoint of 64°F right now.

lol. Here's the part where BDR is actually cooler because they are right on the water and I'm more inland.
I dropped down to 75 now but the problem is inside the house is 68 and dry so as soon as I try to open the doors and windows the house will "warm" back up and thats a no no. Dewpoint now 61.2 (it rose )
Notice tright on the coast its cooler and Long island. But around NYC and the CT valley its warmer. I think I'm having a real issue with dew points this year... I really need a break from that to at least tolerate the temps.

"-Saturday Evening: Some late sunshine. Staying dry for a good part of the night with clear spells, but becoming cloudy again later perhaps with a little rain by dawn.
Sunday: Cloudy for many with occasional rain, light at first, but becoming heavier later with possible thunder. Misty over Derbyshire hills. Maximimum Tenperature 19 C"
They seem to employing monkeys at the Met Office now.

What sort of feels-like formula are you using? It obviously isn't the heat index, since it's always the same as the actual temperature when it's below 70F. Is it the humidex or some other formula? I'm not criticizing it - I've encountered 65F days that felt near 80F myself.

Blech. Can't it be mild(er) without being muggy (dew >60F) where you live? It seems to be almost impossible to have both cool and dry air in summertime in coastal New England (key word there is seems; I'm no expert on local climate in Bridgeport). I'm sure cool/dry airflows have occurred there before, but it sure isn't common.

The apprent temp which doesnt even factor in dew point or suns rays. Just going by stats on what the apparent temp was. (look at chart) Mid 80s using Humidity and Temp. Technically it was near 90 on my skin.
Right now apparent temp outside is mid 60s and temp dropped to 64F. Thank God. A/C still on. I cant afford to let that cold air out just yet.

One can only hope that you'll be letting some cold air in, not out .

Amusing since I want my house to be 75°F definitely not 68°F.
59°F out now. Thought it felt chilly out. I'm changing out of shorts.
