That can't be healthy. You must get dangerously overheated.

These are my comfort zones:

Very hot: >100°F/38°C
Hot: >90°F/32°C
Warm: >80°F/27°C
Comfortable: <80°F/27°C
Cool: <70°F/21°C
Cold: <50°F/10°C
Very cold: <20°F/-7°C

This year I was more sensitive to the cold and the 85°F highs we got recently didn't phase me at all thanks to losing 50lbs/22kg/3st 7lbs in weight since last year. With that in mind, it would seem like I never really acclimatized to the cold here at all I wonder what next year will be like

And mine.

Very hot: >85°F/29°C
Hot: >75°F/23°C
Warm: >60°F/15°C
*Comfortable: <55°F/12°C*
Cool: <40°F/4°C
Cold: <10°F/-12°C
Very cold: <-10°F/-23°C

Understand that my comfort zone adjusts per season. In the winter my comfort zone is 20-30F But in Spring I'm comfortable at 55. In other words, if it was 55F in the winter it would be scorching hot for me.

Our bodies adjust to the temps.

Notice my comfort and warm are very close. Thats why its a fine line for me when to turn the A/C on.

It's the same for me as well, but I was just too lazy to write that down lol. 50°F in winter feels a lot different than 50°F in spring. When it was in the 50s here this winter, it felt pretty mild, now I feel a bit on the cool side when it's 58°F currently.

Well April is about to come in nearly 1°C colder than average.

We in the UK (this part anyway) have been enduring a generally sustained cool period since April 2012 (before that was a mild period from September 2011 - March 2012). Since April 2012 the weather has defaulted to generally colder than average conditions with only the odd mild blip here and there. The only exception was August 2012 which was marginally warmer than average. However, that month was appallingly dull.

At least in Buxton you can see how much colder than average it has been since April 2012:

Anomalies below average.

April 2012: -2.2°C
May 2012: -0.1°C
June 2012: -0.2°C
July 2012: -0.5°C
August 2012: +1.2°C
September 2012: -1.0°C
October 2012: -1.3°C
November 2012: -0.5°C
December 2012: +0.1°C
January 2013: -0.6°C
February 2013: -1.5°C
March 2013: -4.0°C

A truly depressing situation.

Haha good job As a matter of fact I just lost 36lbs this winter and haven't felt any difference in cool temps perception. I'm curious to see if I'll sweat less than before in summer (which wasn't common even then).

Lots of talk about the ULL lately. We're all trying to figure out where it will be next week. Pretty cool models at least gave us heads up on the possibility first week of May.

Euro now has it in the plains. then shifts to East. Models are ALL OVER THE PLACE still.

GFS seems most consistant with around Great Lakes. Notice how Euro moved from Gulf states to plains. I wonder if they will meet in the Ohio Valley like I have been thinking for days.

Here's what Euro shows for Temps May 6th afternoon. Poor Maine
