snow storm is currently over Alberta and headed my way (worst thankfully however will be North of my location).

First major snowfall of the season for forecast for Edmonton this weekend but so far things are not too bad (unlike last year).

No major cold outbreak either with lowest temperature in the next few days being forecast to be no worse than -12C. (Average low for November 2nd -7.2C and record low -26.5C.)
