Only got to 3c because it kept raining all night which it wasn't supposed to do. But castlederg did nearly hit freezing.

Its 4c now but it might drop more as sun isn't up for about an hour.

Nice thunder this morning. Strangely, a huge number of the thunderstorms we get over here occur in the morning, between 6 and 9 am.

I love your comments sometimes, keeps the mind sharp cause they are interesting and make you think.

yeah the airmass wasn't that' cold and it took a while for radiational cooling to happen for the surface to drop as much as it could before the sun rose. The lows are usually between 2-7am anyway.
