Looks like double digit highs in London through next week.

Here it's been so warm that even lows below freezing are hard to come by even though freezing is not far from the average high.

Tell me about it, if the forecast comes off for the next week, we will have had just ONE high below 10C all month, at 9.4C

We've found it hard to get lows below even 8C-9C, we are running at almost 10C as our average low so far this month. It's simply insane, I didn't think such sustained mild weather was possible here at this time of year

Snow and wind is predicted for Saturday. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

I'm impressed, you have pretty much the same anomalies as us, though your anomaly for max temperature is higher than ours.. it's amazing!

Thunderstorm with cloud to ground lightning, pea sized hail, 60mph winds, and 1.50 inches of rainfall in one hour this evening here. Fun stuff for December 23rd.

Might be the heaviest rain I've seen all year. Can barely make out the house across the street.

Normally, when we have a cool season severe weather event, the front moves through, followed by a rush of cold air. But with this one, not only does it not get cooler, the temps for Christmas actually increase! Anyone care to weigh in on this?
First... Thanks! I appreciate that. Lots of good members here who discuss weather and stuff

Second.. Usually in the south there a little residual effect where It will take time for the warmer air to scour out. But the cold air is digging. The other issue is that You are on the wrong side. The SE ridge is having more influence on you than the cold air. That could change after next week.
