Just because something gets replies, doesn't make it a good or constructive thread.

A lot of the replies to her threads are often people complaining about yet another stupid thread.

Lol that is true. And anyways, it doesn't take much intellectual capacity to rate a climate, so it's not exactly hard to post there. Those rate the climate threads always breed moronic non-regular posts.

Why do people care so much about posts and thread that they don't like? Why not just respond to whatever you find interesting and ignore the rest?

It's hard to ignore 70% of the forum being taken up by useless threads. Anyways, even if we were to just "ignore" it, that wouldn't make it any less annoying since it still takes up space on the forum.

Interestingly not a single thread on the first page was started by Abrandnewworld. Not sure about pages further back.

I hate walking through the city, mostly because it's not a pleasant walk & can never get to my destination fast enough.. especially walking back to the train station.. then my attitude to slow walkers, ppl who walk side by side blocking the pavement, is get the **** out of my way!
Lol, now you know why New Yorkers walk fast and get annoyed at slow walkers. I used to walk through Midtown Manhattan between the bus and train station coming home from college; lots of slow tourists when I was trying to catch a train/bus though Sunday evening usually wasn't bad in that the pedestrian volume was low enough. The sketchy adult-themed (mostly/all video?) shops appear to gone on that route, what's a downtown with its p0rn shops? Internet killing off small businesses. Somewhere around here

I tend to agree with you on this.. I just ignore threads that bore me or don't take to my interest

When the whole page is filled with climate battles and other similar threads, that is annoying as it is almost impossible to scroll through them to find what you want.

Anyway, it's just an internet forum and it's supposed to be a bit of fun.. some people take this too seriously lol

Yea, I get when the forum front page is filled with, that's why there's a poll cap. Sometimes I miss it when the forum is overwhelmed; another times there's just not many normal posts. But making post after post this poster is stupid, why care so much?

I usually skim through, read and reply if I find something interesting. Move on to something else if I don't.

This is one of the few places I can come and talk about my passion without people looking at me like I have three dicks and eight testicles, so when it gets taken over by ****wits it's kind of hard not to take it seriously. I suppose it is only an internet forum though. Anyways, can't be that bad considering I'm here posting away.
