I personally only reply to a few, but they tend to get lots of replies and activity so obviously someone cares. Also was there not a cap on climate polls and all these rating climate threads???

Well, I got in at 9:20 today. The train also seems overheated a lot of the time, though theres a.c.

Has something to do w/ high temps, humidity, sweating in the car, while waiting for the train, having long pants on, and walking fast. I hate walking through the city, mostly because it's not a pleasant walk & can never get to my destination fast enough.. especially walking back to the train station.. then my attitude to slow walkers, ppl who walk side by side blocking the pavement, is get the **** out of my way!

So glad I don't have to use public transportation anymore.

My cousin & his family are currently on holiday in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria & his stupid wife posted a photo on Facebook a few days ago of one of those advertising thermometers (in full sun) that was reading 44C, if that wasn't silly enough she posted last night that the temperature had been 126F yesterday! That's 52.2C.
All her equally stupid friends posted replies like:
"Oh you lucky fing hun!"
"Ooh lovely babes x"
"Thats nice & warm hun x"
I couldn't resist posting a reply myself so asked:
"Where abouts are you? Iraq?"

For the record the high there yesterday, according to AEMET, was just shy of 28C/82F & it hasn't been above 30C/86F for the last week...

I just hate how long it takes. The train ride itself is usually less bothersome to me.

A break from driving is a good thing to me.

I love how here buses show up literally every minute. You miss one and then wait 60 seconds for the next one. Insanely cheap too, like half a dollar for a ride. Meanwhile MTA charges almost 3 dollars for **** service and buses that show up once an hour (if you're lucky). **** you MTA, New York City needs to hire the people who run the transit in Valparaiso

The forum would be better if you were banned as well.
