I chose Albany... Chicago might be up there too.

GFS has a slight shift north.

Canadian track seems pretty much bulls eye over us at least this run does..

Even if a location changes to rain we will use the total snow that fell for this event.

Here are the locations in the poll. Choose who you think will get the most snow from this storm.

Yes I did, doesn't say anything about not using snow totals factoring in lake effect.

I would choose Watertown NY but since that is not on the list, I guess I will go with Binghamton (although I think/hope it will be on the bottom fringe of the system snow-wise and won't get 'that' much since I may be driving quite close to there as the storm moves east).

There's the system.... Entered Western U.S last night from the Pacific. Here it comes. Who will win?!

In motion last couple hours

The deeper the reds the more moisture the atmosphere has. Far left of screen another one coming from the Pacific. That's next weeks storm.

Not totally sure about that since the winds would be from the West. The other side of Michigan probably. What is NWS discussion saying there?

Latest GFS doesn't like the Northeast but likes Chicago and northern Indiana

Remember... these are not forecasts, they are possibilities which can change run to run. (GFS updates 4 times a day)
