Just did my hourly OBS.


8pm.


0.5" snow so far. Melted to .01" liquid... That's 50:1 ratio! Fluff stuff.

So is that a garden hose connection on the other side of the broom? Interesting idea. A broom that connects to a garden hose!

I'll have an update later on.. Everyone is waking up in the Northeast and going outside to measure.


Here's the latest snowfall reports. I see 6" for Western MA. Mostly 2-5" out there. Wonder what the major airports got

Storm total of 3.1" at the airport. A bit more fell at my house, probably about 5".

From the 10th to the 12th, 3.6" fell

Gives us 7.3" for the month and 23.2" for the season. Above average.

Maybe a front loaded winter this yr. Does that mean we thaw out for second half? Early spring?
