In Autumn 2017 so far,

The lowest temperature in Göle was -7.4°C.

The lowest temperature in Ardahan was -3.7°C.

The lowest temperature in İzmit ( where I live) was 8.9°C.

In Autumn 2017 so far, the lowest temperature recorded in Turkey was -7.4°C, which was recorded in Göle.

It got down to the 40's again last night with a low of 45F. Warmed up to 82F during the day today with a clear sky. The dewpoint rose to the 50's. Tonight the forecast low is 52F.

The middle of next week looks nice. Wunderground is forecasting 70/41F for next Wednesday! Also looks like we could finally get some decent precip this weekend.

Wont get too technical but BSR = Bering Sea Rule. Basically a 17-20 day telliconnection.

Simply put, The Bering Sea Rule is a weather pattern in the Bering Sea which has a 17-21 day correlation to the weather in the United States.

I mean look at this tweet from back on October 7th. Lucky guess? No. This big jet stream dive coming next week was seen 3 weeks before using the BSR.

ORD's average high to date is 71.6F. MDW's Mean temp to day is 64.2F, with an average high of 72.2F. IKK 73.7F.
