Huge ridge of the East Coast means lots of rainfall early to mid week. Crazy quasi-summer pattern until colder air breaks down ridge over next week or two.
Indianapolis airport is at 78 Degrees as of 2 pm this afternoon, Indianapolis Eagle Creek airpark at 76 Degrees; the weather station representing my location(Noblesville) is at 75 Degrees
Ended up with 0.40" of rain today. Line of storms came through this morning around 8 AM and brought some strong wind gusts, but not much thunder and rain was just light to moderate. Sky cleared over the past hour or two. Temp has been in the 60's most of the day; up to 69F now with the sun out.

Warmer here than there. 71° max with full sun again until afternoon some mid-high level clouds started blocking in.

Huge Ridge meant it stayed dry. But finally this trough is moving in and this front will have moisture with Low pressure developing along it. Something we haven't had in a while!
Not sure what's worse. The constant 80s in Florida or the 70s in southern Hudson Bay area at 5:30pmEST October 22nd
Euro12z. Snow for Northern Minnesota into Ontario Friday and Saturday. That's the path of the storm. This frame is for Friday morning. 850mb below freezing near the 998mb storm so its snowing at this hour in NE Minnesota and Ontario.
Currently, here in Aurora, ME...57F, Dew Point 37F, Winds NE 6 MPH....Sunset and growing cold.....
The leaves swished under my feet today as I traversed back and forth to the clothesline....It was another lovely day - dry and cool with wind (Need to retrieve laundry still hanging on line, but reluctant)...Perhaps last time before cold sets in.....
Sitting outside on our Front Porch and writing while Jon (my Beloved Husband), calls his brother in Oregon)...So thankful we no longer live there
Wednesday we are expecting rain and are thankful...The Lower Beaver Pond (where a young one set up it's dam), sadly, only a bit of water remains (and hope it is safe)!
Looking forward to this week...and whatever it brings...in Hope!
