Southern Middle Tennessee here. We ended up with 1.5" - 2" of snow with the main roads clear. Our old rural road does not have winter maintenance so there were ice patches in all the predictable places ------ on the long & shaded grade with a hair pin turn right at the top ------ unless one wants to blast straight thru the fence and join the neighbor's cattle for brunch
An hour or 90 minutes north and NW, saw 6" - 7" of snow and ice slicked roads.
All of Middle Tennessee is in the deep freeze. My area will drop to a real temp of 3(F) by 2:00 AM, then add the windchill. Never fear, we are predicted to reach 59 - 62 (F) by Sunday.
Awesome report from there. Thank You! Stay safe and yeah, warm up coming. Ups and Downs.

Impressed at the temps there this morning. Wow. And it feels like this with the wind.
huh, why am I such a bad judge of snow totals? It looks like 2 inches out there but NWS Boston reports has about 4 inches as of 7:15 am. Snowfall rate looked very light this morning and overnight, but many hours of snow adds up? Forecast total still 7 inches. Nice scene at Portsmouth:
