Yep, everyone here has heat. There aren't any power outages that I'm aware of. Also, my house has a fireplace.

An hour or 90 minutes north and NW, saw 6" - 7" of snow and ice slicked roads.

All of Middle Tennessee is in the deep freeze. My area will drop to a real temp of 3(F) by 2:00 AM, then add the windchill. Never fear, we are predicted to reach 59 - 62 (F) by Sunday.
Awesome report from there. Thank You! Stay safe and yeah, warm up coming. Ups and Downs.

5 Maps of snowfall totals. Long duration event so I'll have to grab the update tomorrow for other areas.

I'm sure NWS will have their list of reports soon too.

Houston at IAH got down to 19F, as did areas of New Orleans. These are the coldest temps in over 20 years.

huh, why am I such a bad judge of snow totals? It looks like 2 inches out there but NWS Boston reports has about 4 inches as of 7:15 am. Snowfall rate looked very light this morning and overnight, but many hours of snow adds up? Forecast total still 7 inches. Nice scene at Portsmouth:

GOES16 Satellite view this morning as the front pushes east it's leaving clear skies and a view of the snow on the ground in the south. See it?
