Certainly would be a fun trollish experiment for us to swap weather for a week just to see people's reactions lol
I'd actually take it for one week only so that when autumn comes we'd know we had the full summer experience. The highest low we've had this summer is a really modest 58 though and even that felt a bit stuffy to sleep in, so a week of lows in the high 70s combined with our complete lack of AC and we would pretty much all be walking around like zombies.

Yeah, I can't picture this weather occurring in your part of England during summer. I imagine people may die.
I guess you guys just have a bit more seasonal delay compared to more continental climates. Most climates in the US peak sometime in mid-late July, and then start declining slowly around the 2nd week of August. By the end of August, a lot of places are a good 5-10 F cooler than their midsummer averages.
Most coastal areas in the UK have a warmer August than July, and a warmer September than June.
It's back...cold front bringing below average and dry weather in July.
