Opening day for gun season almost here. Lets get those stories and pictures ready.Anyone get anything on early bow season or have a monster scouted.
My son got a doe during youth hunt and wife did her own style of hunting and did alot of damage to her car worst was deer was not salvageable.

So here is wishing everyone a Safe and hopefully tag filled season.

Memories of hunts passed also welcomed here just to get all the hunters blood pumping just a bit more.

Good Luck everyone. Be safe out there. I'll be thinking of you all while I am nice and snug in my bed sleeping.

My guys are so excited. They have seen a couple of nice size bucks. We built our house right on the edge of our hunting area, so they have it made. Roll out of bed and climb up in the tree stands. No more getting dressed and driving 5 miles.

My husband is like a kid waiting for Christmas!!!

He just found out that he needs to go and get a doe license. The area he always hunts is buck only this year unless you purchase the other license. Needless to say he's going to get up early and head out for that. Normally him waking early takes an act of "God"

Stay safe everyone and happy hunting.

If anyone has too much venison, I'd be more than happy to have some

Totally excited. We've been watching a monster 10 pointer come into the yard for the apples on the tree and chasing the does in the field. My daughter is coming home from college to hunt, my boys hunt way up by Clam Lake. I don't hunt deer, I bartend and believe me I'm looking forward to hearing new hunting stories, not that I mind hearing the old ones.

Everyone is excited around here. Had sewer back up after doing wash Sat. when I called the plumber he said, Sue, good thing you got me I'm going to be off for 5 days hunting!

I discovered when I moved here last fall, lots of things come to a screeching halt the last 2 weeks of November! Be safe everyone!

I remember being in school and the last few weeks of November we'd always have half of our class missing since they were hunting. It was funny.
