I loved the weather this weekend! I could have went without the wind Saturday but things died down Saturday night. We had a bonfire and cookout. I cant remember the last Labor Day weekend that was this cool.

Weekend was great! Two Rivers has a kite festival, a fun time! Oddly enough, wind on Sat. caused a few issues, Sunday was perfect. Kids love those huge kites. It was crowded Sunday, a very good thing for Unique Flying Objects owner, he organizes it.

I talked to 2 couples from the Waupaca area who heard about it and decided day trip. Oddly enough they are also transplants from NE Illinois, after their kids went off to college.

Now today rain is coming down, but not for long I guess. I'm actually enjoying the cooler weather!

We had hail down here in downtown Milwaukee. It's freezing, bring back the 88 degree weather!

This week has been beautiful! How has everyone been? Some of the Maple trees here in Baraboo are already changing color! This crisp dry air so refeshing, it is now 68 degrees with a light breeze sun is shining!

Not so great today, drove to Peshtigo to meet my sister for breakfast. Didn't notice many changing trees, a few here and there.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a great day, hang in there MC!

UGH!!! Why is there never any sidewalks in the dumb suburbs!! I hate walking on people lawns and in the busy street! I guess this is one reason why I live downtown.

I have never ever heard of Farm Aid before, this is the first time. Apparently it's the 25th annual "Farm Aid" show. I'm 28, who knew of such a fest.

Farm Aid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I thought about renaming farm aid to "Hippie Jam fest 25 feat. your favorite liberal political spewing musicians."

Hey John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews whom I both like. I don't need to hear your political speech before, during or after your music set. Just run for office then.
