I have never worked at a shop/plant/factory that did not offer benefits. More often then not, these were provided free. As for wages, entry level positions tend to pay considerably better than fast food, which begs the question... Why are people lining up to get a mcjob instead of putting in an honest day's work in a factory? You certainly aren't going to be getting any overtime at a mcjob or wally world either...

andywire is right about the benefits part.
Actually it is the "white-collar" factories that do not provide any benefits (usually)
