.. And for those saying they have "no issues with it". You SHOULD have issues with it.. You make an effort to obtain far more formal education getting THOUSANDS Of dollars in debt only to work for high school graduates who have no debt with no formal secular higher education.
Sounds like an entitlement issue.

You're making probably 30-50 thousand dollars LESS than those above you with only a high school education.
But how much more direct work experience does that person with a HS education have?
There are entire companies working for bosses with no degrees.
Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg
Apple - Steve Jobs
Microsoft - Bill Gates
Virgin Brand (Airlines, Wireless, Space Tourism)- Richard Branson
Dell - Michael Dell
Then, there are companies run by guys that never graduated high school.
Walt Disney Co - Walt Disney
Imagine, if you one are those guys that has $60k in student loan debt working for Facebook. The top boss doesn't even have a degree. The engineers are jumping off towers in Silicon Valley. well, maybe not.
Well from that list above...I don't think I would give too much credit to the person that supposedly stole the idea from someone else and used it to make their fortune while cheating others.

Something is WRONG with that picture.. Sorry but thats the bottom line
You continue to miss the point that what's important to an employer is the ability to do the job, nothing else. Your effort and the price of your education means no more than the price of the car you drive to work. You make less money because you add less value to the enterprise. Would you have someone with little knowledge or experience leading a business simply because of a certificate hanging on his wall?

As in many professions 90% of people in those professions have a degree of one sort or another.
As a person with at least a bachelors degree in something, How has it been working for someone without one?
What was your experience?
Did they act as professionals?
Ask any college graduate of George Washington or Abe Lincoln. John Adams chafed a bit, that's for sure. But many non-graduates have lots of practical experience.

These people were prodigies in their fields. Very much the exception.
The college degree shows that you are somewhat intelligent and motivated.
Back asswords Even worse when you actually have more formal education than even management (2-3 levels above you) since they obtained those positions back when you needed no formal education to get the job.
Something is really "off" when you have literally more formal education than EVERYONE in management above you
"Off" in what way? Like you are automatically entitled to something more?
I have a Masters. Of the last three managers I've worked for, none had more than an undergrad. And one didn't even have a degree. It really didn't matter one bit.
In fact, there are managers I've worked for where I did't even know what their education background was. Again, it never mattered. Now, perhaps if I was at NASA, NIH, or APL, things may be different...

Uh no. There doesn't need to be anything wrong with that picture. It could be that they simply spent their time/resources more wisely. You getting an education doesn't guarantee or entitle you to anything.
A degree doesn't make you smarter, just better educated. As a younger person, you're probably not aware that many jobs today which require a degree, were not a dgreed job 30-40 years ago. Today, even secretarial positions require college degree for a number of reasons. So, you may work for some people because they've been around a long time or are part of the family, how much that bothers you is your choice.

30-50 thousand is peanuts. You are missing the big numbers.
They would be making 100-300 MILLION dollars less than Steve Jobs at Apple. All his money was in Apple stock, even though he made $1/yr. He had 5.5 million shares, worth over $2 BILLION dollars, when he retired.
Many of those engineers would have debt from graduate degrees to add to their undergrad. It would not just be thousands in debt. It would be tens of thousands in debt. They would have gone to the most expensive colleges in the nation.
