If the US were to take over Canada and designate all provinces and territories as states, it would make Texas the 7th largest state in the union, behind Nunavut, Alaska, Northwest Territories, British Columbia, and Ontario.

When I was driving to Niagara Falls, Canadian side with my wife and then nine and eleven year old children during early April 2007. Yes, I gave away my age, but I digress.
I pointed to the left side of the customs sign, which said "douane." I told my children that that was "Canadian." My younger son said "Daddy, that's French. Oh well, I couldn't convince them that Canadian was a language.
