I'd say Mexican here in Denver, but is that really a foreign cuisine?

For every city in Canada the answer will be Italian and North American Chinese (chicken balls, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, etc.).

For every city in the U.S. it will be Italian, North American Chinese and Mexican.

It's when you dig a little deeper that things get more interesting.

So if we want to make the discussion worth it, for my city the answer would be Lebanese shawarma. Honourable mention probably goes to pad thai.

Washington DC area (including Maryland and Virginia) has cuisines from all over. Hard to say which is the most, I guess it's Chinese. But this area is also kind of known for it's Ethiopian food.

But you can find lots of Italian, Greek, Thai, Lebanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, Mexican, Brazilian, Peruvian... I had Uzbek the other night. There probably aren't that many countries not represented in some form or fashion.

Foreign cuisine restaurants are the minority even in large cities in Italy and nearly absent in the province. Anyway, I have the impression that "chinese food" is a little bit declining, while "kebab" shops are becoming relatively common. For more refined palates, "sushi" restaurants are quite common too. At least, this is my impression for the Turin area.
