Good question  I guess they might appeal to the average northern man, not at all to me though. And probably not to men around the world, for instance in Africa, either.
PS: Forget that remark, I had mistakenly read Russians instead of Romanians. I don't want to delete it, though, so as to not cause confusion regarding Pigeonhole's reply.

Ah sorry, I read Russian instead of Romanian, should have worn my glasses  Now that you wrote Romania, I noticed my mistake.
Can't really say anything about Romanians, though, I have never been there, nor do I know any Romanians. |

There are lots of Romanians here in Spain where I live. It's a mixed bag, as with any nationality. Don't know how representative they are of the country as a whole. |
