I don't know. Did you go back and read some of the poetry posted you might want to give acknowledgement for? Or the beautiful artwork? That is what this thread is for.
Here are some carvings and canes we make........I am the painter. Some are from cottonwood bark and some from bass wood.......all are carved by hand. Santas are our favorite to carve.......but, we have old tyme golfers, and wood spirits, fun things..
Thank you Summering. Those are beautiful. Do you sell these?
Well, they are most of the time special gifts.......I just send off.
The long bearded santa carrying logs......has been sent to quite a few friends, and cousins in surprise. e
Some request......There are different things.........some are cypress knees from South Carolina that become Santa. Some are Cottonwood bark( MT.) that become Santas too. Others are from huge chunks of basswood. Its fun because they are all different.
Right now I am working on a old time Santa pulling a sled with logs on it.
I love this one. We sell some, some I just can't part with, and some I have been talked into parting with. I have three very, very tall cottonwoods, over 16" to about 24" that go on the mantel at Christmas with greens and lights.........Three of my favorites.....Quite fun.
Wow, Summering, those are great! Love the walking sticks
I do too........I have a few leaning on the hutch.
Gosh.........are you in Alaska........then you need those sticks to keep the Polar Bears Away.......NO?
We had a few very cute carvings of bears. One had the baby on its back, just spread out there. Can't keep one for myself....The last one was mine, but its gone
Your welcome, there is just too many to print on here, and my camera is not the best at all. It does no justice to the brood.....
