With dozens of local media outlets around El Paso, you are sure never to be far from the latest headlines or newest pop songs. El Paso has an expanding media market that includes print news, local and regional television, dozens of radio stations, magazines, and more. The El Paso Times and El Diario de El Paso keep El Pasoans in-the-know in both English and Spanish, while TV stations such as KVIA and KTSM cover local and national news and air regular national TV. Description: A small, 40- to 60-page free weekly newspaper covering Fort Bliss and overseas news for those stationed on or from Fort Bliss. Every Thursday 20,000 issues of the Monitor are published, and the more than 80,000 readers (both on and off post) represent active and retired military, civilian employees, and their families. The Monitor is the only authorized newspaper on post and the only newspaper that saturates the military market in El Paso.
