Comments:
Visited facility in response to customer complaint that on 2/13/07 about 4:00-4:30 p.m., customer was served fish and shrimp dinner, customer bit into a white pill with very bitter taste. Shrimp is shelled and deveined, Japanese bread crumbs and oyster breader is mixed and shrimp is pressed into the coating. These shrimp are stored in walk-in box then the tray is carried to the refrigerator at cook line as needed. No medications were observed in prep or cook area. Tylenol caplets and aspirin were in bottles on managers desk. Manager did not have any knowledge of any employees personal medications being in prep/cook area. Observation of shrimp making process and visual evaluation of shrimp in walk-in box did not reveal any abnormalities.
