Financial anxiety is getting worse

I'm so scared of what's ahead for me...For the first time in my life I've actually thought about
the possibility of becoming homeless..
.How do people actually live in their cars?...How do they
do the body functions?.....Don't they get severe
back problems from sitting down all day?...What about the heat and humidity in Miami?Every time I get in my car: within 45 seconds I'm all sweaty and sticky...Do you have to keep the AC on for 24/7?..Showers?...Showering at a public place with my shyness/low self steem/introversion/inferiority complex/body shame issues?
Maybe I can live in my office...After working there for almost 45 years maybe I can have some special dispensation to do so???.There's a lunchroom with a fridge and a microwave...bathrooms of course and even a shower that nobody uses...big screen tv's in the reception and conference room with basic cable...wi-fi...
The reason for my anxiety is the horrendous increase in cost of rent in Miami during the last year...Largest one in the country..37%...Miami
has officially surpassed NY and LA as the worst place for renters in the country,specially when it
comes to % of net income going to rent(In Miami is pretty common for that % to be 40-50%).
I've lived in the same place for over 15 years...I'm currently paying $1200/month for a 2/2.1000 Sq.Ft....Very very low by current Miami standards where a 2/2 will go for $2K.. Is an old building...I've never had my rent increased in all of the time I've lived there.
But I just don't think I'll escape this trend..just too much temptation for the owner..
The question not when but by how much my rent will increase..$200? $400 $600???? and
I'd still be paying at under-market.
I have no family close by...I can barely keep my head up paying the $1200/month I'm paying now...
Nobody better tell me to get a roommate..I've never lived with anybody else other than my Mother and sister..I'm too old and too sick and too self-conscious to have to share a bathroom and kitchen with anybody..even with family I still had a difficult time...Plus there is no room in my apartment for anybody else...I have my stuff taking up space.
