It was long-awaited by the locals. Those cramped parking spaces became cumbersome and nobody wants to park next to the stinky old dumpster.

Breakfast and lunch fans of Old West Café can take heart. The Denton, Texas, location has finally made the big move. Where they used to be was the first Old West ever in North Texas, in a building that has spanned some three decades. For years, it had been a Denton institution, and they've had many positive recognitions....

Even though I've always wanted to live in the Houston area, the opportunities to move there just never have panned out. I would have loved to have moved to that area. Katy would be ideal, since it doesn't flood as much there as other parts of the area.

But that's not why I'm writing this. I'll save the side dishes for later. As much as I hated not living in Houston, I've missed so many great things about that market, only to make up for a smidge of that courtesy...
