Her Take on the New Year

Posted 01-01-2014 at 01:07 PM by Fortoggie

After a pause she said, "I just hope that all the people out of a job can find one and there are so many people depressed I hope they can get over that. It is another new year, the first day of the rest of your life. That can be said about any day though but it appears to be more important on an "official holiday".
What is the importance of the new year? The new beginning? The new start? Is it really that important or is it...

My New Year started a few months ago. However, things that i will accomplish this year...

Continue to write this blog. It is interesting to me to read through these and see patterns that I may have not allowed myself to be aware of.

When I feel I'm slipping into a funk I will continue to find something else to do that is new to me.

I will sell my house in SC.

I will start college in the summer.

Different words, same result.

On to traditions set in place many many moon rises ago, New Year's Resolutions.
Do you partake with this particular tradition?
If you do what are your resolutions?
Are they traditional, non traditional, for fun, serious?
Do you follow through...
