Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their music hits with new

The Bee Gees -- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.

Bobby Darin -- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.

Football Already? You Could Say Fourth And Goal

Posted 07-29-2013 at 02:34 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Honestly, I don't want to stop thinking about baseball. At this time of year, however, football is making its way back into the fold of our everyday lives. One month from now, we'll have college football, pro football, high school football, everything football.

Training camps for the pros are well underway. Pigskin fans everywhere are in eager anticipation for the season to come. Seems like just a couple of weeks ago when I attended a high school football...

Case's Vacation Journal: Thoughts From The Edge And Things That Did Happen

Being on vacation brings forth images for your mind. If you have a photographic memory like I do, sometimes you get a lot of pictures in your mind that sort of hang there whenever you have something memorable happen. In other instances, things happen and you occasionally wonder why. But what the heck, it's vacation!

I've been off for twelve days but it really felt like three weeks. I love it when these things drag. My travels had taken me to Lubbock, Texas...

Driving through WV and Virginia (coming from Ohio) to North Carolina, where is the best place to stay (hotel)?

Google Maps shows 3 routes to Charleston: US-35 all the way, US-33 to I-77, amd US-33 to US-50 to I-77. All three are between 2hrs 50 min and 3 hrs 10 min.

If you go via Marietta/Parkersburg (33/50/77), there are a cluster of motels right at the exit in Marietta (Ohio 7 exit).

Thank you. I'm stopping in Charleston.

No don't close it. I don't really know how to use City-data that well (still learning).

Thank you for your great replies!
